KINARA FESTIVAL 8-31 JULY

We are delighted to welcome you to the first Kinara Festival hosted in partnership with Super Slow Way. The festival will bring together special guests including actors, poets, artists and musicians from around the world in events across Pennine Lancashire.

Our programme is full of high quality workshops and performances that bring national and international artists to your doorstep. We invite all communities to join our conversations, workshops and performances featuring in Lancashire for the first time. It is a joy and a privilege to curate events that bring guests from around the world to Lancashire and showcase the heritage and landscape of our county to the rest of the world.

Our invited guests include world renowned artists such as poet Avaes Mohammed; photographer Peter Sanders; storyteller Alia Alzougbi; dancer Sonia Sabri; comedian Sajeela Kershi and talented musician Hassan Erraji to name a few. The richness of our communities, drawn from so many different lands, is the inspiration behind this festival.
